Personal data we collect and why we need it

We collect basic non-specific information to initiate an enquiry. The details include your name, address, email address and contact telephone numbers. This information enables us to initiate contact and discuss the types of funding available and provide approximate quotations based on the level of funding you require.

How your information is used

We share the basic information you have supplied with our funders. The funders will also share your data with credit reference agencies prior to making a credit decision on your application for funding.
We will not share your information with any other parties except our funders unless it is required in respect of prevention of fraud and law.

Information retention

If you decide to arrange a finance agreement using our services, we will keep your data until three calendar years after the end of the contract. If you do not arrange a finance agreement using our services, we will keep your data until one calendar year from the date of your enquiry. All information supplied will be deleted/wiped and paper records (if held) destroyed once the retention period has expired.

Your rights

You have the right to request to see a copy of your information we hold, request that it be corrected if inaccurate or deleted completely from our records. If you wish to file a complaint on how your personal information has been used/stored you can contact brian@ashfieldleasing.co.uk and request that the matter be reviewed.
